Belgian Shepherds
Courageous. Alert. Vigilant.

About Belgian Shepherds

Belgian Shepherds are active, alert and courageous dogs. There are four Belgian herding breeds: Tervurens, Sheepdogs/Groenendael, Malinois, and Laekenois. These Belgian breeds are medium-sized all-around dogs that originated in Belgium and were primarily used as herding or guard dogs. Today, you may commonly see them working as police dogs, search and rescue dogs, and service dogs. Their intelligence, energy, and vigilance make them best suited for working households.

Here at The Link Farms we are dedicated to bettering Belgian Shepherds as a whole, and our breeding program is focused around selective breeding for sound temperament and good health. Our dogs are socialized at a young age and exposed to several different types of animals, such as: cats, horses, chickens, goats, and other dogs. These dogs are a part of our family, and as such, live the life of busy farm dogs.
